POLYURETHANE PRODUCT (under normal weather conditions)

Caution:  Expect a high fume level with oil-based polyurethane. Young children, expectant mothers, elderly and those with allergies or breathing conditions should take necessary precautions.

  • Day 1 - Natural Sealant applied. Dry time 4-5 hours.
  • Day 2 - Oil-based polyurethane applied. Dry time 8-12 hours.
  • Day 3 - Same as day 2.

STAIN:

  • Day 1 - Stain Sealant applied. Dry time 8-12 hours.
  • Day 2 - Oil-based polyurethane applied. Dry time 8-12 hours.
  • Day 3 - Same as day 2.

WATERBOURNE PRODUCT (under normal weather conditions):

NATURAL FINISH:

  • Day 1 - Water-based polyurethane applied. Dry time 4-6 hours.
  • Day 2 - Same as day 1.
  • Day 3 - Same as day 1.

Note:  Multiple coats of water-based polyurethane may be applied in the same day if conditions permit.

STAIN:
